We offer a few different type of shoots and you can choose either lifestyle or studio (please note studio still uses the benefits of natural light from a portion of the sitting) or if you can’t decide or want a mix of formal and more casual images you can do both

Individual, Couples, Families & Extended Families
All of these session types are available as studio or lifestyle sittings. or if you cant choose, you can do an extended shoot and make the best of both worlds! Studio sittings deliver a more formal type of image where the lifestyle sessions are aimed at nartural and relaxed images. It has been a very popular choice for our families to choose both options and the mix of images delivers everything you are looking for. If budget requirements restrain the choice of sitting, we recommend a lifestyle sitting above the studio option.
When there are little ones involved, sometimes they dont like the studio so much, and we are able to capture much more pleasing images on location where they are having a good time. There are a whole bunch of locations in our region that are ideal for this type of shoot. We have also done shoots at peoples homes, so if you have a beautiful garden or live on a property these images can be more cherished when shot somewhere that is special to you all.
Your photo session is a fun event - and not something you do everyday! When booking we will discuss everything you want from the session and we will help you to have the result you have in mind.
Newborn & Maternity
Such a special time in your life is that when you are pregnant of have a brand new baby to hold. We offer the shoots as seperates if you dont wont both, or you can receive a discounted price when booking them as a package
Maternity photography can be whatever you like. The ever popular black and whites shot in the studio are timeless and then there is a choice of doing a lifestyle maternity shoot which is a more relaxed shoot. Either way its all about your bump and getting some images to recall this special time.
Newborn images shot in the studio consist of a lengthy shoot. We do the black and whites and we also do natural light images. Family componant is worked into the sitting also, the images are not just of you new arrival but of everyone involved int he little ones life. We do family images as a standard part of the shoot.
We don't get requested very often, but it is possible to do natural light images in your home as an option.
Kids Club Thursdays
Our kids club mini sessions are designed for when you just want shots of the kids without the family component of the other sittings. $25 per child includes a free 6x9 print valued at $25. We change locations of either natural ight in the studio or on location, steered by the clients and what they prefer. We are not fussed on over propped images, we do incorporate simple things at times but still aim for the classic and natural look of your child. When you have two or more children and book them all a session we are happy to get the shots of them togther also. Cake Smash
Cake Smash is a relatively new thing that parents are enjoying! Babys very 1st birthday is an ideal to time to get some really fantastic images of your baby.. well... destroying a cake. Sit them on it, let them smear it all over the place. We love these shoots and we do them for a kids club sitting fee of $25. You supply the cake and the baby and we will have a great time doing the rest! We are able to supply cake at an additional charge.
Glamour
When people think of glamour they tend to think of the old style of massive hair bad make-up and really tacky styling. Not so. The biggest thing I hear from people is when they got glam shots forever ago, they dont even like them, because they dont even recognise themselves. Well, we dont want to make you look like someone else, we want to take pictures of you at your very best. We do glamour photography on Sundays only, so that you can have your hair and make-up done by our stylist. Weekday shoots are available but you will need to organise your own hair and make up which we recommend having it done professionally by someone who knows how make-up works withs photography. Glamour shoots are incredibly fun and we do indoor and studio shots to give you a great range to choose from.
Model Portfolios
Full day and half day shoots are available for portfolios. We deliver unique images for your portfolio. Our model sessions are not your run of the mill sessions and we have a very big planning session prior to your shoot.
Boudoir
It is becoming ever popular to have boudoir style photography done. We are staffed with two female photographers to help you feel very at ease with this style of photography. The boudoir we produce is sexy but very classic and tasteful. We do not believe in distasteful images that look cheap and nasty. It is about producing something sexy ofcourse, but we believe that classic (think old hollywood pin up style) is the way to go. We do a number of different shots for boudoir in the studio. We can aslo use your own home as a portion of the shoot. A planing session for boudoir is also required, we want you to have the best images and the ones you have pictured in your mind.
Trash The Dress
Trash the dress is taking your wedding dress, getting all dressed up and then... getting trashy with your dress. For the faint hearted, we have very tame sessions available that will not leave your dress in ruins, or for those that want the ultimate and the real intention of the shoot - to trash your dress, we can find mud, paint or whatever you like! The results are quite amazing and you will have some super funky images. These sessions are like getting married again but with way cooler pics when the day is done!
Tattoo Mini Sessions
We offer mini tattoo sessions for those wanting to have their new inks (or old inks) photographed. It is a mini session rather than a full blown individual portrait session. Please call or email to set up your session today |
