If you want exceptional images that tell the story of your day, then we could be the right studio for you. All our packages full coverage from the bride pre wedding shots to the reception introductions including images of decorations etc at your reception. All packages come with digital printing discs and prints / or albums, because we care about quality, it is important that you go away with some professionally finished products as well as your disc.
Because your wedding day is special and unique, and we are photographers who care about you getting the best possible memories from your day, if you are interested in having us photograph your wedding, we would like to meet with you to show you through our options. We also feel that as we are going to be with you all day, it is important that you meet us before making the big decision on your photographer.
We use only the highest of standards in our wedding albums, printing and framing / canvas options, as well as image enhancement. We do not do point, shoot and dump on a disc style of photography, we take care and pride in all our work and we spend more time than others might with post production to ensure you have images that you will love for a lifetime.
All our booked wedding couples receive a complimentary engagement / couples shoot with your chosen photographer in the weeks prior to the wedding. This shoot gives us another chance to hang out and become comfortable with one another before the wedding day – it will help ease any photo related nerves and on the day, it will be a piece of cake. You also select a free 8x12 print from the day free of charge.
Wedding Photography and your choice of photographer is something to consider extremely carefully, as the day will come and go in the blink of an eye, and all you have left is your photos. The great age of digital photography is wonderful, and with new technology, many have turned to trying a career in photography. Some are professional, some not so much. Even if this studio does not suit your requirements, we urge you to be thorough when checking an individual’s work. Nothing is more heartbreaking when people bring us images to ‘fix’ but unfortunately, out of focus and incorrectly exposed images are not always salvageable. You can never be to careful and looking at actual print and albums is more reliable than web images.

FAQ’s
Q. How do I secure my booking?
A. Once you have met with us and decided we are the photographers for you, a deposit of $350 for a local wedding is required. Weddings in all other places may have an increased deposit amount if we have expenses that need to be booked prior to your final payment. As the studio is in High Demand for wedding photography, No wedding date can be held without the deposit, we do accept tentative bookings, and will notify you if anyone else makes enquiry about your tentative date.
Q. When is payment due
A. Full payment is required no later than 7 days prior to your wedding date. You are welcome to pay your photography off, or pay the full amount at any time prior to the wedding.
Q. What can we do to ensure that the photo’s will look the best they can?
A. While this is our job, there are a few things you can do to help us.
Ensuring there is a clean and tidy room for pre wedding bridal shots is always a great idea. We know things get messy with a house full of girls, and we love being in that organized chaos, but just one room set aside with lots of natural light in it is perfect.
Outdoor Ceremony. At Kellie Blinco Photography, we will meet at the location of your ceremony for the engagement shoot so we can help you to determine the best positioning for awesome photo’s.
It is a brilliant idea to designate someone to organize food and drinks for you and your bridal party for post bridal shots. Grumpy hungry and thirsty people don’t photograph well.
Q. What if it rains?
A. If it rains or looks like rain, be prepared with some umbrella’s and gumboots just incase. In the event of rain, we will take it as it comes. There is option here to find undercover locations outside, or if you are spontaneous and willing, I can’t think of anything better than a bride in the rain trash your dress style… okay, so I am realistic and know that there are not many brides who would sacrifice their dresses. Hair and make up before the reception, but I can live in hope!
Q. Do we get all the photos you take?
A. Yes and no. We go through the wedding images and select all the images that are wonderful and scrap the rest. So you get all the wonderful images.
Q. How do we choose which photographer fits us best?
A. There are MANY things you can do to see if your photographer can deliver the images you have in mind. It is unfortunate, but in the age of digital shooting, there are many “photographers” out there that may leave you disappointed. Here are my steps to take in choosing your photographer.
1. Look at their work . Naturally this is the number one step. Do you like the stuff on their website? Do they show more than one image from each wedding? If then don’t, then ask to see a series of images from a single wedding. This may seem strange, but, anyone can get one decent pic from a wedding – the question is are all the pics of that quality? Consistency from one wedding to the next is the big question. Many photographers keep blogs (our blogs are on this website, stop by and have a look!) that display their work from each job they do – this will give you a good indication.
2. Okay, so you think you like their work. Next step is to probably ask around and see if you can feedback from past clients. Look for testimonial pages on the website, or just ask around.
3. Ask your photographer about experience. While everyone starts somewhere I guess, if you want the best you can get, an experienced wedding photographer is probably the way to go. There are also organizations such as AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) that will show a list of their FULL ACCREDITED PHOTOGRAPHERS. Photographers who are accredited have had portfolio assessments, business practice checks and have all the applicable insurances etc required to be running a professional business. The AIPP has a few levels of membership – students and emerging members are those who have joined with no professional experience and no assessment. Look for the full accredited member stamp and be assured. The AIPP website also has a search function to find photographers which can be helpful. You can find that function here http://www.aipp.com.au/aipphome.php?cat=Find
Q. So your are sure now who you want to choose, is there anything left to check?
A Yes. The last and most important step here is to meet them. You want great pics? You need someone who you like and are comfortable with. There is no one photographer for everyone, but making sure you like the person you are spending your wedding day with is the biggest factor here.
